Eye examination !!
I've been to a lot of eye power check-up sessions. I have noticed that there is this common question frequently asked when the optometrist changes lens or changes the position of the lens. "Is it better now ? or now better ?" Frankly, I don't see the difference in the two questions. It is so often asked that you may get to not notice the fact that they are asking the same question that just sounds different because two words are swapped!! Weird ??!!

Find Yourself, cruising through the highway of life !!
Listening to western music while at work kinda keeps me going... well, thats not true... precisely, it keeps me from sleeping :D The past 27 hours has been nothing less than "happening" (read in your mind as "nowhere close to "happening" :P) !! I've been at work doing some monotonous coding in C. On listening to some random music on online radio pandora, which has improved a lot in over 2 years' time that I had stopped listening to it, I felt a sudden urge to have a Texas-feel music... so, I switched to some country music... hours went by and within few seconds of the start of a song, the voice of the singer caught my attention... I had heard this voice before... now, my brain started working as an active multithreaded application.... yes, before the song ended, i finally figured... t'was the voice I had heard during the end credits of the animation movie "Cars" - which I watched 3 times in theater last year and many more times offscreen :)
The song was "Find Yourself" - about how one could feel about going out, going places and "exploring".... deeply profound too.... I loved the sound of it in the theaters itself... this was probably one of the very few movies for which I stayed until the cleaning people came in and begged me to leave :) What a wonderful song !! I am not a great writer but when good thoughts are spoken/written/sung/felt or even thought of, I do notice them !! :) I definitely try !!
Heres some info about the young country singer who sung it and here's the lyrics itself. The third and the last paragraphs are the same and that's the part that most impressed me. And there is this other song that I liked too. Its from the 90's, I guess. Its called "Life is a highway". I relate attitudes of drivers on road and generally "life on road" to our lives quite often. I could quickly connect to this song. Its on youtube and here's the lyrics. Enjoy !!

George's Pearls !!
Its interesting ! Most of my favorite moments in my favorite TV show Seinfeld involves the character George Costanza.
Without tv and much of human presence around, Seinfeld has been filling my rare spare time, off late. I just realized how great it would be to have a character like George around ...
some of his dialogues that made me giggle at humanly impossible rates :D
